Elkhorn Grandview Middle School (EGMS) was among 356 schools identified as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School. This award recognizes schools across the nation for their exemplary high-performance standards and closing achievement gaps.
Rebecca Stichler, EGMS principal, noted that this award speaks to the tireless efforts that every teacher and staff member at Grandview makes every single day, for each student, and the shared belief that all students can and will learn at high levels and make gains toward individual potential. “It is also a testament to our strong community and the partnership we enjoy with our incredible parents and guardians who actively invest in their student’s middle school experience”, she stated.
EGMS joins two other Elkhorn Public Schools (EPS) schools previously recognized with this award (EMS – 2019; Sagewood – 2021). “This recognition is not only a reflection of the hard work happening at EGMS but also a celebration of the dedication of students and staff to achieve at high levels in line with the culture of excellence prevalent across EPS”, Dr. Bary Habrock, EPS Superintendent, added. “Thank you to every staff member and student for your continued commitment to making Elkhorn a place where everyone thrives and achieves their very best.”
