Opening a new school during a pandemic has been challenging, but ENHS is thrilled that our students and coaches had the opportunity to compete in the activities and events that they enjoy.
The ENHS Fine Arts Department was most directly impacted as they were unable to participate in a competitive marching band season, but the Band was able to perform at halftime at all home football games. Additionally, Choral Music Teacher Ms. Simmons created and released a remote choral concert featuring her students, and the music department held an in-person concert in the gym and commons area in December.
The inaugural season for the ENHS Wolves athletics teams was successful and included numerous highlights:
- The volleyball team was only one game away from the state tournament as they earned runners-up in the District final.
- The girls cross country team qualified for the state meet and finished 7th overall. Britt Prince finished 5th and Corinne Mead finished 10th.
- The girls golf team finished 3rd at the state tournament and was 7 strokes away from a state runner-up title. Julia Karmazin and Emily Karmazin finished 3rd and 4th as individuals.
- The softball, football and boys tennis teams all did an excellent job in their first year of competitions and represented ENHS very well.
