Elkhorn South High School and Elkhorn High School were recently named the top two high schools in Nebraska according to US News & World Report. The rankings are released annually in conjunction with RTI International global research firm.
“Being named the Top 2 high schools in Nebraska is an honor that all Elkhorn Public Schools students and staff can take pride in. It is due to the continued dedication of all of our staff and students to high levels of learning for all students that this honor is made possible, and we are so proud to have earned it,” Superintendent Dr. Bary Habrock stated.
US News & World Report works closely with AP College Board and International Baccalaureate to gather information and utilizes state assessment data and graduation rates from both the Nebraska and US Departments of Education to determine the school rankings.
