Governor Ricketts Visits West Bay

Governor Pete Ricketts visited West Bay third, fourth and fifth graders on February 25 as a guest reader. Governor Ricketts read “The Dragons are Singing Tonight” by Jack Prelutsky. He stressed the importance of a good education and encouraged students to keep reading. Ricketts also told students Nebraska would celebrate its 150th anniversary next year or sesquicentennial.

EPS Tech Savvy Parent Tip: November 2015

This year EPS is rolling out Google Apps for Education, one component of this is Google Drive. Google Drive provides online file storage so teachers can share documents and homework assignments with students. It extends the classroom learning environment by providing free word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools that can be accessed at school and home. PowerSchool is portable! The PowerSchool for Parents app is available for download. Parents can easily view each child’s progress in a single feed to check grades, review assignments and more.
